Types of collaboration

In order to diversify social aid as much as possible, Fundación Renta Corporación works with several organisations, focusing intervention and resources on several operating spheres.

The result is involvement in projects which are very different, both in terms of relationship with beneficiaries and the type of cooperation provided. So, the Foundation channels its support fundamentally through the following types of partnerships:

  • · Funding of specific projects of a clearly social nature aimed at disadvantaged groups. This allows us to tackle issues with a specific focus. The contribution for this kind of events is 3000€ per project.
  • · Sponsorship of fundraising events (concerts, paddleboard and golf tournaments) organised by other charitable organisations where the main objective is to raise funds for specific projects.
  • · Specific acts of support Good examples would be the UNICEF agreement signed on February 19, 2002 and Intermon Oxfam signed in November 15th, 2002.

  • · Involment in Mixta africa. The Fundación Renta Corporación also carries out social projects through its holdings in companies such as Mixta África. This company was established with the objective of providing economic housing in Africa. Fundación Renta Corporación reinvests all profits obtained as a Mixta África shareholder into social projects in countries where the company does business.
  • · This type of collaboration has a two-pronged objective: on the one hand, to foster sustainable development in emerging countries, and on the other, to generate wealth and jobs.

Project selection criteria and contributions made.

Project selection criteria essentially revolve around three key factors:

  • · Well-grounded trust in the receiving organisation.
  • · Beneficiaries: Children, the infirm, abused women, basic needs, etc.
  • · Suitability: projects funded will be those with an obvious social and humanitarian. High priority is given to primary care projects.

The Foundation can also address any project in other spheres, provided that the social aim is justified

In the last 4 years Fundación Renta Corporación has financed more than 550 projects, investing more than 3.300.000 €.
